Amen Health Care and Empowerment Foundation, an international charity group, which is non-political, non-religious, non-governmental and non-profit making, was set up in 2004, with a vision to reduce morbidity and mortality, which is predominant in rural Communities, in order to prevent deaths from preventable and curable diseases, owing to lack of access to medical care. The Foundation also seeks to empower people to become economically strong through skills empowerment and provision of tools and materials to enable them become productive in order to live a meaningful life and have the resources to seek for interventions.

Assisted Edo State Government to train 77 doctors and nurses from all the 18 LGAs of the State and some private hospitals to carry out Cervical Cancer Screening and Treatment using VIA procedure by Acetic Acid and treatment by Cryotherapy, of early signs of cancerous lesions. Over 150 additional medical personnel have been trained thereafter
Conducted surgeries for 100 patients, including blind beggars in Lagos at the General Hospital, Lagos in February 2010, 50 surgeries over three months at the General Hospital, Isolo and planning another 75 cataract surgeries for end of October 2010.
